NWA Events

The Northwest Branch has a well-established program of annual events. The hallmark event is in March, the Day of Training. The event is a day-long professional development seminar with a diverse program and a variety of sponsors. The Northwest Branch also aims to host a Summer Construction Tour of a featured, local project and monthly lunch meetings throughout the year. These meetings focus on a variety of engineering subjects and local matters to keep members current with important news and updates. Due to our proximity to the University of Arkansas Student Chapter, the Northwest Branch also hosts events in conjunction with the students. The annual Pizza with the Pros event, held in the Fall, offers opportunities for networking between the two groups. 

The Day of Training in is Northwest Arkansas's largest engineering conference. This day-long PDH seminar-style event includes a broad array of engineering topics, with all proceeds going to scholarships for University of Arkansas Civil Engineering students. Vendors and sponsors in the exhibit hall range from construction, drainage, insurance, transportation, water and wastewater. 

Monthly Meetings

The NWA Branch has hosted a variety of subjects covered in recent monthly meetings; providing interesting and relevant professional development to our membership.

Although the Northwest Branch has a robust annual program, the Board of Directors is always interested in hearing new ideas for social, technical, or networking events our members desire.
