Soaring Through Service Activities: Helping Students Build Catapults

Younger Members Caroline Fox and Katie Story attend a local elementary after school program to engage students in STEM by helping them build catapults. The catapults were built with popsicle sticks, hot glue, a small plastic container, and rubber bands. One of the goals of YMG is to spark interest in engineering among students. Caroline and Katie had a blast with the students, and we can’t wait until our next service activity!
