The University of Arkansas at Little Rock (UA Little Rock) invites applicants for adjunct instructor positions, beginning August 2018, in the areas of structural engineering and geotechnical engineering.

The successful applicants will be expected to teach one or more undergraduate civil engineering courses, such as mechanics of materials, structural analysis, structural steel design, reinforced concrete design, soil mechanics, and foundation design to students in one or more of the following programs: (1) civil and construction engineering, (2) architectural and construction engineering, and (3) construction management. Salary is negotiable with the dean.

Minimum Requirements: Applicants must: (1) hold, or previously have held, a professional engineer (PE) license within the U.S., (2) hold an undergraduate engineering degree in civil engineering, architectural engineering, geological engineering, or a related discipline, and (3) be able to communicate clearly in written and spoken English.

Preferred Requirements: Applicants should hold a master’s or Ph.D. degree in civil engineering, architectural engineering, geological engineering, or a related discipline.
