The 2017 Day of Training is will be held at the Fayetteville Town Center on March 16.

Attendees

We look forward to hosting another exciting event for you this year. In 2017, our event will feature four main Training Goals:

  • Body of Knowledge
  • Local Affairs
  • Government/Regulatory
  • Professional Development

These goals will be achieved by hosting a broad program of speakers from the state agencies, engineering consulting firms, private companies, and local officials you need to keep you up to date with civil engineering in Northwest Arkansas. Registration is open, please click here to register! If you or your company would like to have a booth or give a presentation, please see the Sponsors section below.

Sponsors

First of all, hats off to you! This event isn't possible without our generous sponsors! For the 2017 Day of Training, ASCE NWA plans to offer a true exhibit hall! This dedicated sponsor area will include more booth space than before and more intimate setting to foster discussion and networking. The exhibit hall will be opened all day. Attendees will be encouraged to explore the exhibit hall after presentations, during breaks, and during the lunch period.

Students

The Northwest Branch always encourages student attendance at the Day of Training. The University of Arkansas Student Chapter will host a booth in the exhibit hall, and student registration for the conference is free. Students are welcome to attend as many technical sessions as desired. This event is a great opportunity to network with NWA professionals and learn some real-world engineering concepts to show off to an interviewer or professor! Student registration is free with UA ID number, but we request you follow the registration link so we have a headcount and can provide you with a nametag.

The Northwest Branch also provides scholarships from the proceeds of this event to rising UA civil engineering students. Preference is given to academically accoplished ASCE Student Chapter Members who are involved in the ASCE Mid-Continent Competition. Consult the UA ASCE Student Chapter Advisor for more details on the scholarship.
